Exodus 15:
Got out of bondage life is good

Israel exodus out of Egypt is a type and shadow of the bondage of sin we escape as a Christian
The waters bury our old way of life and we a placed into a new season
We start feeling better things start looking better
We are on an emotional high
We worship like we never had
For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
You might have months even years coasting on this change
But at some point you are going to face adversity
They have shade and water god performed a miracle
He says I’m going to be your healer
I’m going to be your protector
Your provider
Just trust me and be obedient
Reality Exodus 16:1-3
And they journeyed from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the Wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they departed from the land of Egypt. Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. And the children of Israel said to them, “Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”
Here’s where a lot of give up
When they have to work on themselves and their thinking

Complaining is their default
Before remembering what God has said
We complain before we ask or believe

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.
Grace, Faith, level up repeat
Israel is given clear instructions
Gather what you need for your family
No more than what you need for the day
On the 6th day I want you to gather double
Sabbath day your are going to rest and eat what you have already prepared because of the sabbath
People get greedy and gather more than they need and it disappears
People don’t gather enough on the 6th day and they go out and there’s nothing
Exodus 16:18
So when they measured it by omers, he who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack. Every man had gathered according to each one’s need.
Omer is one tenth of an Ephah
Give one tenth or tithe the food and it eventually ends up in the ark of the covenant
God’s system set them up that they gathered what he provided for the day and they relied on him
For 40 years they didn’t have to worry about food, he provided water for them in crazy ways
But daily he gave them provision
Manna what is it?
Quail
So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Jesus is tempted hmmm in the wilderness
Man shall not live by bread alone
Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ”
Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”
And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.
Give us this day our daily bread.
-Give us this day our daily bread
-Jesus is the bread of life
We are sustained by His word daily
Your spirit man requires food daily
Go without eating
Your spirit man is starving for the word of God
This is why we say you need to connect with God daily
A lack of daily relationship with God= a lack of spiritual maturity
You are unique:
How you connect with God
Our prayers should have worship and gratitude
Gratitude keeps you from getting an attitude
Find out how you connect with God and start doing it daily
I encourage you, do not see where God can fit in your schedule
You need to set a time, a place,
Find a time and place
20- Receiving posture, I belong to you
20- adoration and external tongues awe of God
20- requests for others
Are you Stepping into prayers for your future or waiting for crisis today
God wants to change our vocabulary
When hears god through you
He’s authored his word and his will
If anything asked according to your will he hears us and answers
Give us this day our daily bread!
Obedience is gathering manna daily
