These boys had no say in the matter.
God had a plan for their lives and while they would make individual choices, they would live out that plan.
I wonder how much their choices depended on the memory of this blessing.
\\ One of the disciplines in my Bible says we bless others because we have been blessed (48:3,4) and that those blessings are formative for us when we recall them often, think about them, and let “grace enlarge our hearts.”
\\ Grace is a revelation of God that changes me.
The first one was when He revealed Jesus as God to me.
At that moment, I was captured, changed, reborn and never to be the same.
I went from a lost child to a child of God.
There were other times of blessing but today, I will ponder the marvel of this one!
