We need to equip Christians to the work that God has given us.
To be involved with gathering the harvest not sitting in a pew for 2 hours each week.
The problem is a lack of workers but God's solution is to equip ALL Christians for the work.
(NIV) says, "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."
God is telling us that we need people with heart for people, to go out and deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The problem is US.
We lack focus – we've lost sight of our mission – to bring the lost to Christ!
We are contented to warm the pews and not warm the hearts of men and women who truly need the message of love.

The Lexham English Bible says in "For I passed on to you as of first importance (Literally “among the first things”) what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, 4 and that he was buried, and that he was raised up on the third day according to the scriptures."
Is our mission to bring people to Christ or to sit in pew with suit and leave the other 6 days alone?
Is our mission to bring people to Christ or to sit in pew with suit and leave the other 6 days alone?
Is our mission to praise God and sing songs of worship for two hours of for 168 hours?
The Christian life should be dedicated to bringing people to Christ!
