Redeemed so that we can be Restored
Back in the garden of Eden, sin separated the Spirit of God from us.
God valued us so much that he was willing to pay the price to buy us back.
But he didn’t just redeem us so that we can be saved or love and worship him.
We have been redeemed so that we can be restored to our full identity -God’s Spirit within us, filling us full and overflowing.

Our Identity is restored!
We are no longer a product of our past, a product of past sin, or even a product of our natural parents.
We are sons and daughters of the living God!!
Paul says that to be carnally minded is death.
That doesn’t just mean to think really sinful thoughts.
It means when you think thoughts that are natural and normal -but are focused on self.
To be spiritually minded is to understand that Christ is in us.
Not a head knowledge, but revelation knowledge!
That same anointing that raised Christ from the dead is available to all of us!
Col 3:10
-you could say, we are renewed as we truly know our creator.
There is no Greek or Jew, no Amish or Mennonite, no Beachy or Bapist, no prisoner or free man, but Christ is all that matters.
If the Spirit of Christ is living within, that is the main thing.
He is our identity!
Not any other name that we give our self.
God is looking to restore to us our true identity.
Don’t let anything or anyone steal it from you -or define your identity in any way that is contrary to the word of God.

The restoration of each of us is a process that lasts our whole life -and beyond.
It is full complete restoration of our whole being -our spirit, soul & finally our body will be replaced with a glorious body!

Our spirit was born separated from God -and being separated from God is death
Adam’s sin brought an immediate death in our spirit as His spirit was separated from God’s spirit.
When we accept salvation through Jesus, our spirit is immediately made alive.
Our spirit instantly is brand new and perfect.
This is now our identity.

This is a work that God does.
He cares enough about us to bring healing to our soul.
He not only desires to save spiritually, but he wants to bring healing to our mind, our will, our emotions, our heart.
This restoration takes time -it actually takes our whole lifetime.
God’s desire is just for us to try harder and harder to be better.
Rather, we change and are restored as we receive revelation.
Our New Body
We are Redeemed so we can be Fully Restored -Spirit, Soul & Body
