in Acts Chapter 8 there’s a there was a Eunuch that was hungry for God

They slammed the door of the temple in his face and said you can’t come worship, he was so hungry for God that on his way back to Ethiopia the Bible tells us in acts chapter 8 he was still reading the Jewish scriptures
God sends Philip out in the wilderness here in Acts 8:32
In vs 35 Philip opened his mouth and he began at that same scripture in the Old Testament in Isaiah and he preached unto him Jesus.
Jesus how could he even do that when Jesus when Jesus isn’t mentioned in Isaiah chapter 53 his name not there, but He is there because he was the lamb that went to Calvary he was the sacrifice brutally beaten and put on a cross and his blood was shed it was innocent blood although you don’t see Jesus Christ
in Isaiah 53 He’s there He’s in every verse behind every image He’s the lamb that’s coming.
Philip preaches to him Jesus and explaining Jesus being the lamb.
John the Baptist and Paul and Philip on that day they would refer back for ground zero for the Jews
He made Christ to be who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf

The Lamb had to be Spotless
In this
God was very specific about the lamb that was to be chosen for the Passover.
There were three conditions:
A. It had to be male
B. It had to be in it’s first year-both of these things speak of the great value of the lamb.
C. It had to be without blemish
2. The thief recognized Jesus as the spotless Lamb!
In John chapter 18 pilot said I find no fault in him
In Matthew 27:4 Judas said
I have sinned and betrayed the innocent blood
The centurion who stood on duty at the cross

Why was death necessary?
Why did Jesus have to die such a cruel death?
Because God always judges sin!
If God is a God of love, why can’t he just overlook it?
He cannot overlook sin because he is a righteous judge!
In Christ, God carried out sentence against his own rather than strike us!
He made a way for us to enter into His great love!
God said that when He saw the blood, He would pass over them.
Not one home with the blood applied was touched by the plague.
Every home in Egypt without the blood lost their firstborn!
The blood of Christ is my shelter today.
It’s my shelter from the judgment of God!
