THE MEANING of the RESURRECTION

INTRODUCTION:

That Jesus is risen from the dead is a fact, accepted, and proven. The question that we ask this morning is, “What does the resurrection of Jesus mean?” The resurrection of Jesus means three things.

Illustration: Maran Centaurus Oil Tanker Crew, 7 million. Tanker carried more than $165 million worth of oil. Hijacked in 2009 by Somali pirates and the crew was taken captive. Three months later the crew was set free when more than $8 million was dropped on the deck of the tanker for their release.

CONCLUSION:

We conclude that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the capstone of our faith.
