Be Alert

If you remember, the Corinthian church had been prone to distraction.

The word is always used when Christians are either being called to anticipate the return of the Lord or are being called to be watchful of the attack of the devil.
To be alert we have to get rid of distractions:

To be on the alert means that you are focused on what you are supposed to be doing.
I don’t know about you, but I find it really challenging to be focused almost all of the time.
Have you ever been driving down the road looking at your phone almost in an almost comatose state and then get to your destination and wondered if you ran over anyone along the way?
That’s distraction.
I know some of you are big time rule followers on the road and you never use your phone while driving (stop judging me…)
