Every time we go to fast food restaurants, we’re always tickled when we get our bags from the attendant…how many condiments will they put in the bag?

For those that don’t have an interest in the success of the business, you might get 12 ketchups for a small order of fries (more ketchup than fries).

Sometimes you’ll have to ask 3 or 4 times to get some ketchup or salt (they issue you them one at a time.

Both employees work for the same establishment/business, but the difference is in how the employees see theirselves in relationship to the success of the business…If I see my actions affecting the whole, I will walk with caution/thought but if I don’t see my actions having any any impact, then ANYTHING GOES.

Its a restatement of the Law that God gave Moses to give to the people to guide them as they were to take possession of one of God’s properties, but the 1st group of exiles died in the desert because they wouldn’t accept God’s ways (truth be told, “The Earth is the Lords....).

FCF: sometimes, God tries to get us to a promised possession but we complain (Job, transportation, relationship, etc.)

That’s why its important that Moses told them in v.2 “you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these 40yrs in the wilderness”

The reason Moses is giving the Law again is because the 1st generation that left Egypt is dead.

They complained and gave up on God enough that he said, “Im done with you.”

EXPOUND…at some point, God says that’s enough.

Rather than wash his hands of all the people, he says that those that were under 20yrs of age at the time of the Exit will enter into the promised land.

Some of God’s chosen people went into the desert with mother/father, but came out fatherless…motherless
