We sure could use a little good news today
After decades of being in bondage God is telling Judah to come out of their bondage, but it is the only life they have ever known.
I believe this is still the issue today.
In order for a person to be saved from their sins, and live blessed life, they have to be convinced to leave behind the only life they have ever known, even if that life has them beat down and held captive.
The deliverance of Zion… Jerusalem.
is a picture of worldwide redemption by Christ.
When Paul was discussing the importance of Gospel proclamation, he hearkened back to this passage.
The Good News Needs to Be Shared
Weirsbe- good news is for sharing.
The good news we share today is that Jesus Christ can set the prisoners free.
Things I am proud of:
I believe after many years of challenges and prayer, Riddles Bend has many families who faithfully and systematically tithe.
We do such a good job with evangelistic events.
For the next long while, you will be hearing me talk about become faithful in sharing the Gospel with others.
I am working hard on how that will look and am excited to hopefully see us become Gospel sharing church regularly and outside the doors.
Our neighbors need to hear the Gospel.. We need to share it.
I want to point you to the business cards again.
