Introduction
Today I had three people in my life reveal very painful stories of suffering, pain and fear that that either had to endure or are enduring right now.
I was so moved by what I read on Facebook and was told in person that in prayer seeking the God of all comfort for them but also seeking the God who is faithful, just and true for understanding.
You see these stories were ones that touched me because I personally knew the people involved, but, the world is, has been and will be filled with stories similar to these.
Many more will come into my path as a minster of the gospel and believed that the God who loves us with an everlasting love could give me wisdom that I could share both now and in the future.
I believe he has given me a glimpse that may help you as you endure the suffering of today by knowing that you are randomly going through hardships and tragedies.
Jer
The Israelites were in captivity as slaves in Babylon as this verse depicts, I believe that suffering through tragedies and trials not of our own making is a form of captivity.
