This morning’s message let’s look at 4 ways Jesus is better than Angels.
I.                   Christ, is superior in His person
-          Angels are not gods
-          Angels were created
-          Angels worship God
-          *Acts 4:12** *Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
-          *John 14:6** *Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
II.
Christ, is superior in His Position
-          *Psalm 2:6-7** *Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou /art /my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
-          *Psalm 45:6-7** *Thy throne, O God, /is /forever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom /is /a right sceptre.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
-          *Psalm 102:25-27** *Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens /are /the work of thy hands.
26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:  27 But thou /art /the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Christ, superior in His power (10-12)

2.       Resurrection Power – Jesus arose
3.       God does not change
4.       *Hebrews 13:8** *Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
IV.              Christ, is superior in His PURPOSE
-          Angels purpose is to serve
-          Christ purpose was to save.
