When we walk in obedience to God we position our selves to be blessed by God.

Why were they praising him?
Its the same reason we praise him.For the mighty works he has done.
When we see His mighty work gives us cause to praise Him.
Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to his excellent greatness!
