The Rapture is when Jesus meets His Church in the clouds.
(He does not set foot on the earth)
The Second Coming is when Jesus comes back to earth with His Church.
(He sets foot on the Mount of Olives.

These are two different events separated by 7 years
The Rapture is the first event.
The Second Coming is the Second Event.
The best way to remember the two different events is,

What is a A-Millennialists?
Is a person that believes that God’s promises regarding the End Times are figurative and will not be literally fulfilled, particularly the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth.
A-Millennialists
Partial Rapture
Jesus will come come for part of His Saints (Church) the rest will go through the Great Tribulation.
How will Jesus Choose who gets Raptured and who stays behind.
Pre-Tribulation
Jesus will come for His saints (Church), before the Great Tribulation.
This is the view I choose to be believe, and is the Doctrinal view of Friendship Baptist Church.
Mid-Tribulation
Mid-Tribulation
Jesus will come back for His Saints (Church) halfway through the Great Tribulation.
After the First 3 1/2 years.
Post-Tribulation
Jesus will come for His Saints (Church) after the Great Tribulation.
I call this the U-Turn View.
This view says, that Jesus will return to Rapture His Saints (Church) take us to heaven, and make a complete U-Turn for His Second Coming.
There is a BIG PROBLEM with this view.
There are a few events that take place in heaven after the Rapture and during the Great Tribulation on earth.
The Judgment Seat of Christ
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The Post-Tribulation view has become popular with a lot of Southern Baptist Churches today.
