INTRODUCTION
Today I believe we have many who are in different seasons of life…
One thing I have learned is that no one has it perfect on this earth…
We all face many seasons...
So as I list these different seasons I want you to find which one you are ....
There are some here here that feel trapped in sin , stagnant in their spiritual growth.... guilty, ashamed… .... worried, anxious, helpless, or empty.
I believe their are some here that are guilty, ashamed… worried, anxious, helpless .... unsatisfied, empty.
you know which you are....
Did you know that God created days in each year way back about 3,600 years ago to address these real problems?
Did you know that God created days in each year way back about 3,600 years ago to address these real pains of the heart?
Seen in (go ahead and turn there)
These pains of the heart … trapped, stagnant.... guilty, ashamed… .... worried, anxious, helpless, empty.
- are addressed in certain days given to us by God in Lev.
These certain days are known as the Holy days....
and these Holy days were not just to celebrate God but to help us!
I think it is so awesome how God made certain does of the year to help us with whatever we are going through!
What I l believe is a total work of God is that all those certain days that address our real issues are all in September this year (this month)
In fact
They are called... the Fall Feasts
the Fall Feasts
Feast of Trumpets - Monday 11/10 /18/ - deals with the trapped, stagnant - (:-25)
Day of Atonement - Wednesday 11/19/18 - deals with the guilty, ashamed - ()
No doubt there are some here who are worried, anxious, helpless..
Do you know what worry, anxiety have in common?
Earthly circumstances… it doesn't matter how big or small they are.
Some of you maybe face the biggest circumstance you have ever faced…
I cant remove your earthly circumstance… and while God can… He may not....
He doesnt promise you Heaven on Earth… what He does promise is salvation by trusting in Jesus!
and when we place our trust in Jesus we may not be free from circumstances but we know our circumstances are temporary!
and when we live in eternity we wont care about how long we suffered or how bad it was all we will care about is how did I handle my pain…
Did I let the temporary circumstance destroy me or did I give God the glory?
Did God’s will cause me to complain or did I let God’s will reign.
You see when you worry and feel anxious you are keeping your mind on earth
but because of Salvation we can place our minds on Heaven
When our mind is on Heaven, our circumstances seem, short, small, and temporary..
Col
Feast of Tabernacles - Monday 11/24/18 - deals with the worried, anxious, helpless, empty - ()
The Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Feast of Tabernacle - are called the Fall Feasts.... you may be familiar with some of the Spring Feasts.

The church age is the fulfillment of the 4 summer months.
"Did you know that the final huge moments of Jesus all landed on Spring Holy Days?” (explain on slide)
The church age is the fulfillment of the 4 summer months.
The 4 Summer months
mystery period since there is no Holy Days then
but since the Spring Holy Days speak of Jesus’ Ministry, and the Fall Holy Days speak of end times, so the Summer Months speak of today.
In the Fall: today/prophetic
In the Fall:
Feast of Trumpets - Repentance/ Rapture
Day of Atonement - Salvation/Permanent Removal of Sin
Feast of Tabernacle - Relationship with God/ Living with God Eternally
OPTIONAL:
there is 7 days of awe between Feast of Trumpets (rapture) and Day of Atonement (removal of sin) -
which is a picture of the 7 years of the tribulation.
what is intresting is that In the Jewish Wedding, the groom comes for his bride "like a thief in the night" to take (size / rapture) her away and into the bridal chamber for the bridal week at his father's house.

FEAST OF TRUMPETS - REPENT!!!!
This feast really lasted 40 days (a month before the celebration of this feast till 10 days after this Feast (beginning on 1st of Elul- 10th of Tishri)
The 40 days was meant to be a time to establish your walk with God.
What is interesting is that Jesus also fulfilled this.
After Jesus baptism how long was He in the wilderness?
and what was He doing?
Preparing Himself
Some believe that Jesus was in the wilderness during the Feast of Trumpets.
By the way what was Jesus first words we read after the wilderness?
In Jesus said, ““Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
What happened after His baptism?
He was in the wilderness for 40 days being tempted by Satan.
So this shows us that Jesus had an established walk to with God.
What I like about this is the steps Jesus took before beginning His ministry.
Jesus first prepared His Heart (through Baptism)
Then Jesus proved an established walk with God (in wilderness)
Another interesting thing is what Jesus said right after being in the wilderness for 40 days.
-
If its true that Jesus said this during the feast of trumpets this was the perfect time to preach this, because the Jewish people already had repentance in mind,
Also Just before the Feast many Orthodox men take a special water immersion (Hebrew, tevilah mikveh) to symbolize cleansing their ways.
-
we call this Baptism…
which brings us back to Jesus.... what did Jesus do before the 40 days in the wilderness (was baptised)
In Israel I learned that the Jews would cleanse themselves in a mikveh (baptise) before worshipping God at the Temple....
I better understand what Jesus meant by repent for Kingdom of God is at hand… He was saying cleanse yourself
Just before the first day of the Feast of Trumpets.... the synagogues would blow the shofar, or ram’s horn to alert the people that the time of repentance is near.
Because of these verses it is believed that
On the first day of the Feast of Trumpets in the traditional Jewish home, the evening starts with the festival dinner with many of the customary dishes.
Then it is off to synagogue for the evening service.
On the next day of the Feast of Trumpets a good part of the day is spent in music and prayers with a theme of repentance
