To be a member of the Church, you must be in Christ.

Unity in the Church is predicated on knowing the Composition (nature) of the Church and the Cause (mission) of the church.

You become a member of the Universal Church when you accept Christ as Lord and Savior.
The Universal Church consists of the Saints who have died and the saints who are present on earth.
The Local Church is the physical
He took the generic meaning of church “people who gather for any purpose” and gave it a particular meaning.
Definition of Church is this: A people called by God, gathered around His Son, filled with The Spirit, and sent to proclaim His name among the Nations.

What do we as members of the Church do?
“Holy Priesthood”- set aside for His service
The priest were the ones who were to mediate between God and humanity.
We are the militant Church on the move for God for the purpose of reconciling men unto God
Antithesis
The church has buildings but little boldness.
The church has numbers but little nerve.
The church has comfort but little courage.
The church has status but little spirit.
The church has prestige but little power.1
This is antithetical to the call of the Church because we are a priesthood unto God.

Can you be a believer and not be a part of the Church?
I believe in Jesus but I don’t go to Church.
You cant say yes to Jesus but no to the Church
A saved man will love what Jesus loved.
Jesus loved the Church so much that He gave Himself up for Her.
Don’t confuse the Building with the Church
Just because you attend service or come to the building doesn’t mean you are part of the Church.
