My kingdom is not of this world.

John 18:33-3
John 18:33–36 ESV
So Pilate entered his headquarters again and called Jesus and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “Do you say this of your own accord, or did others say it to you about me?” Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you over to me. What have you done?” Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”
Jesus points out to Pilate that if his kingdom were of this world, his servants would be fighting for him.
This does not mean that Jesus kingdom is not interested in the happenings of this world. It means that his kingdom is of a different nature than a worldly kingdom.
Note that Jesus says, “But my kingdom is not from this world.” This does not question the fact that it is for this world.

Romans 8:19 ESV
For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.
His kingdom is radically different than any organization of humanity this world has ever seen. It is not borne of our basic sin-filled urges for power, purpose, authority, acquisition.
Romans 14:17–19 ESV
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.
Romans 14:17-

What is Truth?

What is Truth?

john 18:37-
John 18:37–38 ESV
Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.

The Herald of the King

Mark 1:15 ESV
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Mark 1:14–15 ESV
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
