My kingdom is not of this world.
John 18:33-3
Jesus points out to Pilate that if his kingdom were of this world, his servants would be fighting for him.
This does not mean that Jesus kingdom is not interested in the happenings of this world.
It means that his kingdom is of a different nature than a worldly kingdom.
Note that Jesus says, “But my kingdom is not from this world.”
This does not question the fact that it is for this world.
Even the creation waits in eager longing for the revelation of His kingdom.
His kingdom is radically different than any organization of humanity this world has ever seen.
It is not borne of our basic sin-filled urges for power, purpose, authority, acquisition.
