My beloved brother, since we believe that God has called you to be a minister of Jesus Christ, and since the church has recognized this call, and by prayer and laying on of hands has separated you to the gospel of God, as the representative of the church of Christ, I therefore beseech you that you give earnest heed to the word of the living God, which declares:
Ezekiel 33:7
“7 “As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel.a
When you hear a word from my mouth, give them a warning from me. 8 If I say to the wicked, ‘Wicked one, you will surely die,’b but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.
9 But if you warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he doesn’t turn from it, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have rescued yourself.”

ὅπως διαμαρτύρηται αὐτοῖς, ἵνα μὴ καὶ αὐτοὶ ἔλθωσιν εἰς τὸν τόπον τοῦτον τῆς βασάνου ‘that he will warn them so that they, at least, will not come to this place of pain’ Lk 16:28.
