2018 has been a challenging year because of my Dad's relocation and subsequent health problems.
One of the things that happens in such circumstances is that you reflect of parts of life that are long forgotten, or hidden in the recesses of heart and mind.
Hence….the
bell.
Kids, back in the 1970s we did this thing called "playing outside."
Either at a friends house, or at the school playground, nearly every night.
Baseball, football, basketball.
All of which we played with 2-10 players, no uniforms, unstructured rules.
