A fish did not swallow Jonah in order to eat him, but to shelter him.
Now while Jonah is in this place of shelter it doesn't seem like shelter, but it sees like waiting for death to be finalized.
In a place where we see no clear exit; it doesn't seem like shelter but something engulfing us.
The text does not say God created a fish, but he appointed a fish.
For God to call a fish to rescue a drowning man in the middle of the ocean is not a big deal to God; it is something God is able to do.
