Introduction
After the overview which showed the main themes and various views on who Jesus is, we skip over the early part of His ministry and go right to the journey to Jerusalem and the cross.
We’ll briefly talk about Jesus entry to Jerusalem themes of teaching there, last supper, trial.
The service will end with observing communion.
Three times Jesus predicted his suffering, death, and resurrection.
Now we will see the realization of His predictions.

Now Jesus gets the treatment He kept predicting – beaten, mocked, condemned.
Condemned by religious leaders to die, but they did not have the power and authority to kill Him.
Throughout this story are the snapshots of Peter’s story of falling away and denying Jesus as predicted.
