The Bible reveals the history of humanity as one in which we have been scattered because of our pride and sin, with language becoming a barrier, and yet God has miraculously drawn us back together in the Body of his son, Christ--the church. And so the church works towards the mission of uniting every language, every race, every tribe in the New Kingdom under Christ's reign.
