God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

HE IS THE SUSTAINER OF THE UNIVERSE

A.   SCIENTIST DO NOT KNOW WHAT HOLDS THE UNIVERSE TOGETHER

B.   THIS WORLD, THIS UNIVERSE ARE HELD IN A DELICATE BALANCE

HE IS THE RADIANCE OF GOD’S GLORY

B.   NOT A REPRESENTATION OF

C.   THE SOURCE OF

 

V.

HE IS THE EXACT REPRESENTATION OF HIS FATHER

A.   THE EXACT REPRESENTATION OF THE VERY SUBSTANCE OF GOD

B.   WHEN WE KNOW JESUS, WE KNOW GOD

C.   JOHN 14:9 “Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?”

VI.

HE IS THE REDEEMER OF MANKIND

B.   HE SAT AT FATHER’S RIGHT HAND BECAUSE IT IS HIS RIGHTFUL PLACE OF AUTHORITY

C.   HE SAT AT THE FATHER’S RIGHT HAND BECAUSE HE INHERITED FROM THE FATHER ALL THAT THE FATHER HAS

D.   SEATED IN HONOR, JESUS REMAINS SUPERIOR
