First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens.

29 And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.”

Marcos 4:26-29 (NTV) 26 Jesús también dijo: «El reino de Dios es como un agricultor que esparce semilla en la tierra.

27 Día y noche, sea que él esté dormido o despierto, la semilla brota y crece, pero él no entiende cómo sucede.28

(NLT) 5 One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God. 2 He noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets.

3 Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water.

So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there. 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.” 5 “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing.

But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”

6 And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear! 7 A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.

8 When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me I’m such a sinful man.” 9 For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.

10 His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed.

Jesus replied to Simon, “Don’t be afraid!

From now on you’ll be fishing for people!”

Lucas 5:1-10 (NTV) 5 Cierto día, mientras Jesús predicaba en la orilla del mar de Galilea, grandes multitudes se abalanzaban sobre él para escuchar la palabra de Dios. 2 Jesús notó dos barcas vacías en la orilla porque los pescadores las habían dejado mientras lavaban sus redes.

3 Al subir a una de las barcas, Jesús le pidió a Simón, el dueño de la barca, que la empujara al agua.

Luego se sentó en la barca y desde allí enseñaba a las multitudes.

4 Cuando terminó de hablar, le dijo a Simón: Ahora ve a las aguas más profundas y echa tus redes para pescar.

5 Maestro respondió Simón, hemos trabajado mucho durante toda la noche y no hemos pescado nada; pero si tú lo dices, echaré las redes nuevamente.

6 Y esta vez las redes se llenaron de tantos peces ¡que comenzaron a romperse!

7 Un grito de auxilio atrajo a los compañeros de la otra barca, y pronto las dos barcas estaban llenas de peces y a punto de hundirse.

8 Cuando Simón Pedro se dio cuenta de lo que había sucedido, cayó de rodillas delante de Jesús y le dijo: Señor, por favor, aléjate de mí, soy demasiado pecador para estar cerca de ti. 9 Pues estaba muy asombrado por la cantidad de peces que habían sacado, al igual que los otros que estaban con él. 10 Sus compañeros, Santiago y Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, también estaban asombrados.

Jesús respondió a Simón: «¡No tengas miedo!

¡De ahora en adelante, pescarás personas!».

(NLT) 21 Later, Jesus appeared again to the disciples beside the Sea of Galilee.

This is how it happened.

2 Several of the disciples were there Simon Peter, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples.

3 Simon Peter said, “I’m going fishing.” “We’ll come, too,” they all said.

So they went out in the boat, but they caught nothing all night.

4 At dawn Jesus was standing on the beach, but the disciples couldn’t see who he was.

5 He called out, “Fellows, have you caught any fish?”

“No,” they replied.

6 Then he said, “Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!”

So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it.

7 Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!”

When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic (for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, and headed to shore.

8 The others stayed with the boat and pulled the loaded net to the shore, for they were only about a hundred yards from shore.9

When they got there, they found breakfast waiting for them fish cooking over a charcoal fire, and some bread.

10 “Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught,” Jesus said.

11 So Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net to the shore.

There were 153 large fish, and yet the net hadn’t torn.

Juan 21:1-11 (NTV) 21 Más tarde, Jesús se apareció nuevamente a los discípulos junto al mar de Galilea.

Este es el relato de lo que sucedió. 2 Varios de sus discípulos se encontraban allí: Simón Pedro, Tomás (al que apodaban el Gemelo), Natanael de Caná de Galilea, los hijos de Zebedeo y otros dos discípulos.

3 Simón Pedro dijo: Me voy a pescar.

Así que salieron en la barca, pero no pescaron nada en toda la noche.

4 Al amanecer, Jesús apareció en la playa, pero los discípulos no podían ver quién era. 5 Les preguntó: Amigos, ¿pescaron algo?

No contestaron ellos.

6 Entonces él dijo: ¡Echen la red a la derecha de la barca y tendrán pesca!

Ellos lo hicieron y no podían sacar la red por la gran cantidad de peces que contenía.

7 Entonces el discípulo a quien Jesús amaba le dijo a Pedro: «¡Es el Señor!».

Cuando Simón Pedro oyó que era el Señor, se puso la túnica (porque se la había quitado para trabajar), se tiró al agua y se dirigió hacia la orilla.8

Los otros se quedaron en la barca y arrastraron la pesada red llena de pescados hasta la orilla, porque estaban solo a unos noventa metros de la playa.

9 Cuando llegaron, encontraron el desayuno preparado para ellos: pescado a la brasa y pan. 10 «Traigan algunos de los pescados que acaban de sacar», dijo Jesús.11

Así que Simón Pedro subió a la barca y arrastró la red hasta la orilla.

Había 153 pescados grandes, y aun así la red no se había roto.
