1. Evangelism

The primary method of evangelism is verbal.
v. 19 “...speaking the word” - But what ‘word’ were they speaking?
we know from Chapter 8 verse 4 that the Church, which was scattered was preaching the Gospel to all of the people they interacted with.

v. 20 - As Christians we must be willing to take the Gospel to people we wouldn’t ordinarily interact with.
Transitional Statement: In order for a Church to experience healthy growth it needs to be God-centered, there must be devotion to God.
2. God-centered
v. 21 “hand of the Lord was with them” // v. 23 Barnabas “witnessed the grace of God” in the church at Antioch … then encouraged them to “remain true to the Lord” // v. 24 “considerable numbers were brought to the Lord”
In order for healthy growth to occur, the Lord must be very present in everything you do.
