Seeking knowledge of God can be like knowledge of people
We love to categorize people
The cool kids
The athletes
The nerds

Type A or Type B
Firstborn personality vs Middle Child
Introvert or extrovert
Personality tests like Myers Briggs
Or 16 personalities .com
which categorizes everyone into one of 16 categories
Defender, Adventurer, Mediator, or debater among those.
We categorize people by their appearances, ethnicity, background, soci-economic status, political affiliations, and even eschatological beliefs.
I can’t believe that guy is amillennial

We don’t pursue a knowledge of them beyond that.
We don’t have any desire or make effort to learn more about a person
OR
Pursue with a love infatuation with that which brings the greatest joy and delight.
