Eve acted alone, Adam stood passively by, they did not seek God’s help.
This same sinfulness, this rebellion, this desire to do what we want infects all of us.
We need Jesus .
He wants us to leave our past, he wants us to cling to him, he wants us to be one with him so that we become like him.
Jesus is the second Adam.
He died so that through his gift of salvation we who are not good can receive his goodness.
But there is a second Adam
