tPt 8-14-19
- As soon as they were released from custody, Peter and John went to the other believers and explained all that had happened with the high priest and the elders.

You created the universe—the earth, the sky, the sea, and everything that is in them.
- They are putting God 1st & resting in Him, Remember the church is in prayer in “UNITY”!

(3) Reminder of the deliverance from Egypt; -‘You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the LORD your God commanded you to observe the sabbath day.
What does the Sabbath means to us? - God blessed the seventh day & made it holy.
This shows us that God made this a example for not just the Jewish but all!
- Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
(28) “So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” - “If because of the sabbath, you turn your foot From doing your own pleasure on My holy day,
And call the sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable, And honor it, desisting from your own ways, From seeking your own pleasure And speaking your own word, (14) Then you will take delight in the LORD, And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”
Stewardship of time-
1 Cor.
5:33- Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
- “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

The Passion Translation (TPT)
12 Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light.[a]
13 He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule (controlling & oppressive)[b] of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom realm of his beloved Son. 14 For in the Son all our sins are canceled, and we have the release of redemption through his very blood.

And he *said to me, “Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
