Trusting God

Living Right

David here first of all honor God and ask him to give and ear when he calls

He goes on to give him praise because of his deliverance

but then he ask the question why do you turn my honor to shame

why do you continue to believe lies and follow after them this is happening through out the land. We are so blinded by smooth words and untruths. some of us do not believe in God but we have put our trust in man and what they think.

The Godly

In verse three he says he has set apart the godly for himself and He hears them when they call.

can you warp your mind around this idea of the creator of the world will hear you when you call

He loves his children and promised to take care us and be by our side

I think about Daniel in the den of lions and how he was able to lay down and go to sleep in the mist of them

He tells us in verse 4 that we can be angry but we are not to sin

He tells us that we are to ponder in our hearts: psalm 77:6 tell us to remember my song in the night; and meditate in my heart; Then my spirit made a diligent search

When was the last time you really took stock of your life and how you have lived and in thew mist of it you remember a song and made merry in your heart

we ought to always meditate in our hearts about our lives and the goodness of God

we as people of God we need to make the right sacrifices

Romans

Verse 6 speaks about who will show us some good? number 6:26 the lord lift up his countenance upon you and gives you peace

psalm 89:15 Blessed are the people who know the festal shout who walk, o Lord, in the light of your face

Verse 7: says you have put more joy nin my heart than they have when their grian and wine abound

you have multiplied the nation; you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest, and they are glad when they divide the spoil

Verse 8 in peace i will both lie down and sleep for you alone O LORD make me dwell in safety

I lay down and slept; i woke again for the Lord sustained me

Therefore my heart is glad and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure

Therefore you shall do my statutes and keep my rules and perform them, and then you will dwell in the land securely.

19. The land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and dwell in it securely.

It is time to stop getting all twisted up in knots and start realizing that God is on our side and in control.

I must return to the Lord is my,: I shall not want . He makes lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me. you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and i shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever
