Lord Jesus - travelling to Jerusalem for Passover - and His death.
Hindu’s -   ‘wash their sins away in the Ganges river,  Moslem’s - pilgrimage to Mecca Hajj festival.
Starting on His way.
Things this man did right:           1.
Ran up to Him   (didn’t miss last opportunity)

Fell on his knee’s           (attitude - humility, genuine desire)

Before the Lord (right place~/person)

Wanted eternal life         (right desire)

“Good teacher”  (wrong appreciation of Christ)

“What must I do”            (works can’t save) All have fallen short

“All these I have”            (wrong appreciation of self)

Not by works!
Jesus looked at him & loved him!
And a few short weeks later showed just how much He loved him as well as how much He loves you and me - by dying on the cross (for maggots!).
