John the Baptist was a simple man with a simple message. He didn't do anything to draw people, and yet most of Jerusalem went out to him. Often in our attempts to draw people we end up distracting them from Jesus. God is raising up a simple church with a simple message. We can trust the Father to draw people to Jesus, and we can trust Jesus to build His church. May we cooperate with Him, and simply be a voice of truth that prepares the way for God to be revealed among us.
