Memorial of Our Lady of Rosary

Notes
Transcript
Today is the Memorial of Our Lady of Rosary.
The Memorial of Our Lady of Rosary started with Pope Pius V praying the Rosary on October 7 1571, the day of the battle of Lepanto, when he had a vision of the Christian navies had been victorious, over the Turks who had attacked to take over Europe to put it under Islamic rule. when the Pope heard the news of the battle a week later, he proclaimed Oct 7 The Feast of Our Lady of Victory, later toned down to Our Lady of Rosary. When Pope Fancies declared that the 1.5 million Armenian killed in 1915 was a Genocide, the Holy Father was quickly rebuked by the Turkish president, telling him not to make such a mistake again. Just last week the Azerbaijani instigated by Turkey attacked Armenia at Artsakh starting a border war that has killed thousands of innocent people. Genocide and killing Christians must stop in this world everywhere.
In the Gospel Jesus Gives us the Lord’s prayer, Our Father, and tells us to forgive those who are in debt to us. The Lord tells us to do good to those who persecute us, and the best good we can do to the persecutors of Christians is to pray for their conversion to Christ, and we do. The apostle Paul tell us that when we are weak then we are strong. My Brothers and sister no matter what difficulties and trials you are going through today, when we are weak your Strength is the Lord of Hosts, How Strong is That? Our Strength is our communion with angels and saints in heaven who interceded for us in heavenly places, How Strong is That? Our Strength is praying the Rosary of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Victory. How Strong is That? Our strength is faith in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, how Strong is That?
