Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?
So, what is the wilderness experience? Who is in the experience? My hope is that over time we discover together what it is that God is trying to teach us.

The call is to persevere through the trials of this age and to place our trust in Jesus Christ. This is exactly what God was teaching Israel in the wilderness.
In Exodus 13 God leads the people out of Egypt with his recruited servant Moses. In this God did not take his people through the land of the Philistines. Why not? The journey was much shorter.
