We are all born into one of two worlds
We are all born into one of two worlds
Kingdom of Condemned (Birth Day)
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Kingdom of Redeemed (Salvation Day)
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
What we do with our LIFE matters: Consequences, Outcomes!
What we do with our LIFE matters: Consequences, Outcomes!
The world will tell you that Christians are insignificant, do not matter, ridicule you for your beliefs.
But what we should do is take a STAND, develop CONVICTION, determine to PERSUADE the world to Christ!
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God gave Favor: Knowledge and Skill
As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
God gave: Grace & Recognition
And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
God gave Endurance: Continued 70 years
And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.
And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
What we have to do with our Life to Continue
What we have to do with our Life to Continue
Develop a purpose!
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Dismember, Radically Amputate the sin out of our lives!
Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
Disregard what Satan attempts to convince you of your disqualification!
And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellers and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
Many say there is NO HOPE for the unsaved and/or un-repentant, but prayer of and by loved ones will ultimately cause an “understanding to return”
Declare His Name!
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
What our actions tell others - the world is watching EVERY step!
What our actions tell others - the world is watching EVERY step!
Daniel’s Life was a testimony of faith and confidence in the LORD!
I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
Do you live a life that draws others to recognize the majesty and magnificence of God?
King Darius saw that in Daniels life and proclaimed throughout the dominion of his kingdom the glory of God - because Daniel’s life exuded faith and confidence in the Lord.
Daniel’s Life ached with compassion as he learned the visions of the end times!
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
Satan’s tactics include (then as they do today):
Grieving the spirit
Making War
Prevailing over goodness
Wearing out the saints
I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Daniel’s Life was a praying life - God listened!
O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
What now?
What now?
The irony of man, when comparing what the Lord provides:
Everyone wants something for free - they don’t want to work or work to hard a obtaining things, they just want it to be “given to them freely”.
Salvation is FREE
Everlasting Life is FREE
Everlasting Kingdom is FREE
But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
We serve a God who is in control, and provides a lighted path for the direction we must take in trusting Him to enter into the “Kingdom of the Redeemed”
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: For wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, And knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, And the light dwelleth with him.
