TEXT: Mark 4:35-41
The storm in this passage of scripture symbolizes the storms of life.
It represent our challenges, our struggles, limitations and everything that opposes the will of GOD in our lives.
The storms are normal to the living.
It means we are not to count it strange when storms or trails come into our lives.
No matter how holy and anointed you are, storms will come into your life discomfort you.

Storms are part of our redemptive package:
Our storms are tools to access our qualification for the next level.

Examination before promotion:
Overcoming challenges propel us to next level of work with God.
Like the children of Isreal:
There will be wicked Egyptian taskmaster contend with.
Red sea to part, there will be a Jordan river to pass through, the wall of Jericho on your way to your premise land.
Joseph knew he would be great but had to be a prison and a slave first.
the storm is not meant to destroy you but to promote you.
How?
!. Resting in the Lord: it is the attitude to show in the face of a storm.
Rest doesn”t mean complacency or in-activeness but rest believing the saving grace of God.
Whenever you fear or panic while facing trails or storms of life, you are showing faithlessness and are doubting God. it blocks miracle.
2.It is not what you do that matters.
the disciples did all the could but storm could not stop.
Sit still.
every storm shall calm
Rebuke the storm:
Every storm has ear and recognizes the behind your words.
He spoke to wind and to sea and the obey.
He thought in Mark 11 to speak to our mountains.
The storm you can not address will not submit.
