Introduction
The concept or idea of thanksgiving has been around for a long time!
It was throughout the hymnbook of the Jews!
Thanksgiving is something that is voluntary!
God responds to gratitude!
Consider the 10 lepers.
These men approached Jesus with faith knowing he could heal them!
These men cried out to God knowing they had a horrible disease in their heart.
Jesus responded and told them to go do something about their faith!
Because they put action behind their faith they received their healing!
After they were healed one of them added thanksgiving to the his action!
This got Jesus’ attention!
This man who was thankful not only received his healing, but he was restored everything he had lost from the disease!
