You see that song in the messaging that song says this? Jesus is enough. The gospel is enough. We can try to find Salvation in other realm. We can try to be some satisfaction in the thing of life. But it's only Jesus that can do it all and I hope and pray this morning that Jesus Christ is the Lord and savior of your life in the keeper of your. So what advice you this morning during the 2nd. Timothy chapter 3 will read the first 5 versus but I really want us to deliver adverse 5 this morning. I want to speak to you on religion vs relationship, religion vs relationship and 2nd, Timothy chapter 3 outline. What the last days are going to look like? And I think he can be a checklist for if we look at this package in previous messages in passing, but I really want us to look at verse 5 in, what things are going to look like in the last decade, 2nd Timothy 3:1, this snow also. That in the last days, perilous times shall come of their own selves? Kevin. In the last days, there will be those who are living under a false sense of hope concerning their salvation. There are those who will have the form of godliness, but not have the power of God in their life. And we see that in the first Universe there. All of this is setting the stage obviously for the second coming of Jesus Christ. And when that time comes, we need to understand if not going to be a form of godliness is the religion of a man that's going to make us right before God. It's going to be a relationship that we have in Jesus Christ. Did anybody answer the Visas crisis going to fall short of that reconciliation that we need? You see the sequel? People will turn others away from the true yet. Convinced them that they are safe in Jesus Christ, the goal of this message, this morning is to make sure that you know that you're safe by grace in a relationship with Jesus Christ and not because of some religious. Or that we text. I want you to know beyond a shadow of a doubt. When you leave here this morning, but my soul rest in peace, that the gospel has changed everything in your life. Jesus has changed everything in your life. You please, Satan desires. This to give people a false. Hope of the leaving that you're secure and cry because of their faith, in the religion of man, rather than in the relationship with run. Wake me up a lot of religion throughout the world today. We see a lot of religious rituals being carried out today. The ladies and gentlemen, we don't know Jesus. That doesn't mean Those religious at praying Church, attendance. Fellowshipping. Those are all good thing. But if we don't have a personal relationship Christ, the son of God, the Redeemer of man, the one that came to save the people from their sins, if we don't know him. Personally, you and I are not made, right?

Play Satan desires that there would be this form of godliness. But no one would really know the power of a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. You see you this morning is are we just being religious and that's what we based our Salvation on it or are we actually engage in a personal relationship with Tron? I believe there's three important questions that every one of us must ask to determine whether or not. We're truly saved by the grace of God and to resolve the issue. Am I walking with Christ or am I just simply going through the motions? Am I just being religious? You see my prayer. Is that our Salvation rest in that walk with Christ? And so the first question is, this is our faith in service to God, out of obligation or out of gratitude. You see all the gation is man's away and trying to seek approval from God, through religion. But God's way of pursuing, man, is through that of the Cross of Calvary and what Christ did for us, man throughout the world lyrics thousand. And most of those religion is man's way of trying to reach the pursuit of trying to gain his favor, and gain his approval. And I think if we can just do this or we can do that or we can pull this sandal or push that button that will please God. Where are the live or so, we got to go to church? No, he ain't got to go to church, ladies and gentlemen, you want to want to go to church. You are the one being his house. You Oughta, think about him not just on Sunday, but we ought to think about them every single day, and it's in a relationship with God. For the Christ, have got on his mind and got on his heart. Everywhere. He goes, where it is. It is my prayer that we serve from a place of Thanksgiving at a heartfelt devotion for what Christ has done and what Christ is doing in our life and we all need to be thankful of what is to come. It was through his son, Jesus Christ. It's the one we look at 10 religion satisfy. The need for reconciliation answer is 600. Religion cannot satisfy the need. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can satisfy that need a man. This week with his family, with his wife and his kids. He began to enjoy the services. He began to volunteer to apply at a church in years and years went by. He was doing all these things. And if you were to look at what he did. You would think that that man walked on. But he said it wasn't until years later in a in a message. One Sunday, that he realized he was doing other things that look like a Chris and it was the things he was doing but he didn't have Didn't have a relationship with Christ. But understand this church, we can do all the right thing and we can look like a Christian and not have pricing. I can put on a lab coat. I can throw a stethoscope around my neck. I can come check your blood pressure.

You're never satisfied that doing a religious act or not, a substitute for the repentance. And the remorse of our sins. There is there is no peace like the peace of God that when you lay your head down at night, if you know, you belonged. And so can religion satisfy this need. And the answer is no in Matthew 7:21. Here's what he said. Not everyone. That saith unto me. Lord. Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. But he didn't do it, the will of the Father, which is in heaven. Many will say, to me, in that day, Lord, Lord. You that work with you and in 1st Timothy Chapter 2, Verse 3. For this is good and acceptable. In the sight of God, our savior who will have all men to be saved in the coming of the age of Truth. What there is one guy, one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. That's it. If you want to know if your faith is that you're in Christ, you got to know Christ. If there's only one way to know that you're secure in Christ. And that's through Christ is not time. Then the one that gave himself a ransom from all for all, isn't it time that we can change everything as the song?

You might be here this morning. You may have church remember for a long time. But you're not a belief. You might be here this morning and it might be your first time. They've ever walked through the doors of the church.

Here's the message that Jesus would say there is one guy and one mediator between God and man, whether you've been religious or forty or fifty years or whether this is your first time to hear the gospel. Here. It is. Jesus says Jesus name. And all we have to do is relinquish our trust and relinquish, our heart in our life, and our soul at him. He gave himself a ransom from all for all to be tested in the car. The gospel is enough. Jesus is enough now, Church attendance and praying and studying the word of God. Those are all things. That means so much more to you when you become a believer. I grew up in church from the day that I was born at first week. Mom, and dad took me to church. I realize that the age of 16. To be reconciled to God, was more than just being a family that went to church. I had to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. My mom and dad couldn't save me. My pastor couldn't save me my youth, pastor couldn't save me. The thing that I was doing that look good before others. That couldn't save me. I realize the only thing standing between me and I'm lost and going to hell was the fact that I had not accepted Christ is my savior. So that not 16 years old. I knelt down beside my bed, and I gave my heart to Jesus Christ. and I realized then that, Just a thought. Anything else is not done from the one that made this possible. I want to learn more about the character of God. I would have learned more about what God wants me to do what I said. It's not just to say that I studied it. It's not throwing fun in school when they said is, you read your Sunday school lesson. I did read it on Monday.

How do it because I want to grow in the grace and knowledge in a relationship, salvation can be found in no other name or know whether they eat other than food.

Last question, is it my desire that your desire to serve fan or to serve God? Galatians? 1:10 says this is my friend my now seeking the favor of people or of God or am I driving to please people? If I was still trying to please people, I would not be a bond servant of Christ.

You see my faithfulness to church my faithfulness to pray. My faithfulness to serve should all be motivated for the pleasure of God and not an outward expression of my faith that somehow gained the approval in the favorite. Everything that I do for Christ, should be. Should be 4:15 should be for his glory. It should be for the purpose of putting people in a position to see my God more clearly that if they're lost. They know they can be saved to bring them to the point where they understand the need for reconciliation. He see No One Is Safe without them understanding. There need to be rescued. Once they realize their need to be rescued. Then we give them the way the truth, and the life. We give them Jesus because Jesus is the way to solve a There is no other way.

Why do I tell you this? Why do I share this message this morning? Because I don't want you to walk out of these doors believing that you're secure in Christ and you're not want you leaving this morning balloon and you're safe and you're not, I wouldn't be much of a pastor if my first concern for every single person in this Sanctuary, this morning was your soul. Your soul is valuable. It's valuable to those of us that believe in Jesus Christ, as the savior of the world. And we know that he is the only way you can be safe. I don't want anyone leaving here under this, false pretense that I'm good. I'm safe. I'm going to have a late. Even if you don't have either, you're not going to heaven.

When you pray you are not to be like the hypocrite but they'll understand and pray in the synagogue and on the street corner so that they won't be seen by people. Truly.
