I. Introduction
We have declared to you the Real Meaning of Christmas in our advent series which began with our proclamation of the Birth of the Savior from the apostle Matthew’s gospel.
Pastor Barry illuminated for us that this Savior born so many years ago is and shall ever be worshipped!
Pastor Chris showed us in the Apostle John’s letter, 1 John, that it was the Love of the Father that caused Him to send Christ into the world.
As we come to a conclusion of this series about the Real Meaning of Christmas, we visit a very familiar passage in the apostle John’s gospel.
Written between 80–85 AD, the apostle wrote His gospel so that his readers would understand who Jesus really is and believe in Him.
As we celebrate Christmas, it is apparent that gift giving is central to our traditions.
As we dive into this brief passage today, let us not miss how the apostle John characterizes God as the greatest Giver who gave the greatest Gift!

God gave
A. He loved the world

God did not send His Son to condemn the world.
