We Are A Spirit, Have A Soul, And Live In A Body

What Happens When We Get Saved?

Spirit is regenerated and made alive to God (2 Cor.

Body is redeemed but unclaimed (1 Cor.

Soul must be purified (James 1:21; 1 Peter 1:22)

Mind renewed

Will broken before the Lord

Emotions healed

1. Make No Room For The Enemy To Occupy

2. Stay Filled

Soul Restoring Activity

Love Fervently - 1 Peter 1:22 “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:”

Your loved ones love brings healing to you and you to them

Church's love brings healing

Children in children church.

Read His Word regularly - John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Humbly receiving and obeying the word so it becomes part of us.

Pray in the Spirit - Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Meditate upon things pure, lovely, noble and of good report - Php 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Gird up the loins of your mind

as a man thinks so shall he be
