If you have your Bibles this morning turn with me.
If you will as a threatened last week.
We're going to the Book of Ezekiel chapter 37 and chapter are chapter.
38 chapter 39 rather.
We have in this portion of scripture, the Battle of Gog, and Magog.
This Battle of Gog and Magog will indicate to us the time frame for the Rapture of the church.
That is extremely close is not going to tell us.
When this going to take place.
We do not know when that's going to take place.
In fact, scripture tells us that Jesus says he doesn't even know when that time will take place only the father.
So when the father says the Jesus, go get my children.
Listen, you better be ready.
You better be ready cuz he's coming and those of us who know him and those who of us, who trust him.
He's going to he's going to take us with him forever to be with him.
There's a lot of things going on in the world around us.
Have you noticed?
Bombs are being dropped in other parts of the world.
Families are are fighting and complaining and trials and tribulations are all around us.
Death and dying.
Is all around us.
This week's been one of those weeks for Patrick lied.
I'm not telling you that for sympathy.
I'm not after your sympathy.
I knew what God had in store for me.
When I Got into the ministry.
I knew what it entailed.
But, Tuesday, we went to Tully.
New York to do the funeral service for Leslie.
Sanderson's mom.
So keep them in prayer.
This Anderson family.
Leslie's dad, Bob. the new life for him, 67 years of marriage to his wife and They buried her.
Did the service the other day.
Yesterday for those who know or may not know, I did the service for the girl that had been missing in the area, Morgan Bates.
Ministered to family and friends, a multitude of people who come through.
20 year old, an almost 88 year-old Tuesday.
A twenty-year-old yesterday.
What does that tell us?
That tells us that we don't really know when our last day is.
Brighten, a lot of things can come into play a lot of things can happen.
In fact, if you listen to the news, the last few weeks.
There's been a lot of death and dying people getting hit by cars and other car accident things going on.
That sometimes would make a stop and say, God, what in the world are you doing?
Why?
And as I was asked that question yesterday by somebody, why would a loving God allow something like this to happen?
My answer which I've asked answered that two other people at other times.
If I don't know if I could answer that question, if I could write a book to answer, why God does things the way he does?
And be a bestseller and I'd be a multi-millionaire and I might not be here in front of you.
Today.
I would hope I would because I share the money with you.
But we don't know why.
God does what he does, what we do know is that he is a sovereign God and that doesn't always help doesn't.
It doesn't help knowing that.
He's a sovereign God because we still want to know why he does these things.
We don't know but what we do know by reading through his word, that he's got a purpose.
He's got a plan.
And if we adhere to his purpose.
If we adhere to his plan, we're going to we're going to be in good shape.
But if we don't, if we don't adhere to his plan, we're in trouble.
In the days of Noah.
God looked down upon the Earth.
He saw what was going on in the days of Noah.
And he said it's not good.
Every man is doing that, which is good in his own eyes.
I look around the world that you and I live in today.
And I would dare say that God is looking down upon this world today saying it's not good.
Every man is doing that, which is good in his own eyes.
How we may know what the Bible says?
We may know that God has a purpose and a plan, but don't we just wouldn't want to do it our way.
Yours might like buying that.
Package Shed from a lumber yard and you bring it home and you begin to put a get together.
There's instructions.
But you might not like reading instructions and you might decide to start putting it together.
You're on the way.
You might get some of it, right?
You might get all of it, right?
But I guarantee you, there's going to be something in there that they're going to just change up just to mess with you.
You should have cut this board, a third off of it and kept the other two thirds.
Then you wouldn't have to go by that other.
Piece of plywood for 80 bucks or whatever.
It is anymore.
Is just a crazy world.
We live in but we want to do things our way.
Yes, we know that if we follow God, he's The guy that he's going to the directors, he's going to help us in and we call out to him when we need that help.
But when we think we got it under control.
How often do we call out to him?
We're here today for a reason and for a purpose and that's the worship.
We can worship and we should worship outside of the walls of this church.
We ought to be worshiping everyday.
That's a part of what we are.
We don't have to come to church to worship.
We come to church for fellowship and that's part of our worship.
Why is it so that we can minister to one another so that we can help those around us? That's what we talked about a little bit last week with Jesus washing the disciples feet.
And when he saying this he said okay Peters as well or just wash my feet.
That's not what it's not about you.
It's about others.
It's about you being the servant to others as Jesus as being the servant to you.
We don't really like serving Bowie.
We want to be sure you want to go some place.
You want to go stand in line for 15 minutes, okay?
