Introduction
There are two words used here when we are told to rejoice and shout
The first is גיל - to rejoice in a loud way, to leap with joy, it is joy visibly expressed
The second is רוע - to cry out, to shout, to raise the alarm, to let out a war cry.
related to the greek κηρυσσω - to proclaim, or announce, κηρυσσο is used in the LXX in Zech 9:9 for ruah
These words here first indicate that we are to have an expression of praise and rejoicing over the king that his expressive even in our actions.
Second, these words indicate that we are to not keep this coming of the king to ourselves!
We are to rejoice, shout, proclaim, jump with joy, that the KING HAS ARRIVED!
Why should we rejoice and shout for the king?
I believe that these words are indicating something for us today.
