The weapons that satan had to condemn us with were our failure to fulfill righteousness as God required it.
What was that righteousness we did not fulfill?:
Jesus fulfilled this for us
He loved God with all his heart, soul and mind AND loved his neighbor as himself.
Jesus did what we could not do
Satan’s ability to accuse us before God and control us was broken by the what was accomplished on the cross
Ephesians says it like this...
State: Satan can no longer accuse us before God - because we are perfected in Christ
He still accuses us to ourselves though.
Why?
Because we still sin
That’s when we remind ourselves of what was done on the cross

Jesus lived a sinless obedient life regardless of satan’s attempts to stop him
Jesus endured the suffering of the cross
Jesus rising from the dead proved:
Jesus lived a sinless life ( if not, he would have had the judgment of sin against him)
Jesus had something in him that empowered him to overcome the enemy (Holy Spirit)
And he gave that power to us
State: Christ’s victory paved the way for God’s overcoming Holy Spirit to dwell in all mankind.
For 3974 years (Adam-Christ) God wanted to dwell amongst his creation man
Adam - God was in the Garden with Adam- but sin separated them (us) from God
Moses - God’s wanted to dwell within the camp with the Israelites
But their sin stopped it.
Israel's sin (Arron and the calf) caused God to withdraw from them
David/Solomon’s temple
Once a year one person only could go in and stand in God’s presence - not without blood
Jesus’s crucifixion/resurrection took away the sin divide between God and his children.

State: God’s plan was to once again have intimate relationship with us
State: The process for this was:
Jesus living a sinless life
Enduring the judgement, punishment and abandonment of the cross
Because he did these two things....
The Resurrection happened.
We received his righteousness
State: We want the freedom, power and relationship with God that the resurrection offers
But sin/shame/guilt blocks us
We are still a work in progress
God reveals things
The enemy accuses us
We need to go to the forgiveness and cleansing of the cross.
