Text: Proverbs 4:4
Introduction: Solomon was teaching his son some principles of life. They were not any new clever ideas or unique perspectives on the old ideas. It was just simple truth. His father David taught him how he should live his life. Solomon never forgot those words and passed them on to his son. He was a man of great wisdom but still held on to his fathers words. We should keep his word in our hearts, keep his commandments, and live. He knew these were keys to obtaining wisdom and understanding. These were principles to live by.
