Measuring of the Temple
Told to measure the temple ( the Greek translation of the word actually comes back as church) but not the outer court because it was given over to the nations.
It will be trampled down.
for 42 months or basically 3 1/2 years.

7 years This is half of it.
This is reflected in daniel ch 7
Some say this is the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem and the beginning of Temple worship and the Antichrist will take his seat in the temple and proclaim he is God.
In other words he has something to do with the Temple building and the Worship.
We do know that Ezekiel was asked to measure the temple in Ezekiel chapter 40.
In this case it was just the temple and not the outer court.
Why measure the temple - It just sounds really random?
It is in the vision so you can see the that there is a division between the sacred and the profane.
It is not a measurement of dimensions it is a measurement of what is protected and preserved with what is not.

Religious with political
When you were in verse 6 of chapter 11 the two witnesses would be seen as Moses and Elijah.
