This is the climax of Exodus - the making of the covenant.
This covenant does have some conditions.
God blessings is determined on our obedience.
We are not under this covenant.
His blessings are determined based on Christ’s sacrifice.

Moses spent 6 days in the presence of the Lord before hearing from God.
We need to spend time in God’s glory first.
glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire - This is not a warm fuzzy (to warm haha)
Moses then spends 40 days hearing from God.
