Conclusion:
Your enemies bring you closer to the Lord.
God used Judas to deliver Jesus to the cross.
When circumstances are against us, God says, “I will be an enemy unto thine enemies” (Exodus 23:22).
To know my enemy is the first step, but it is only the first step.
Encountering my enemy at first intimidates me and can tempt me to want to quit.
But when I see my enemy from God’s point of view, my heart is filled with rejoicing because that enemy only reveals to me the amazing grace of God in my life.
For He promises, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17).
