What is Grace ?
The cross was an act of Grace which is giving us what we don’t deserve
freedom from punishment from the actions of our trespasses and empowerment to be people who are no longer enslaved to the flesh
i’m a human is no longer an excuse we can use make us feel good about continuing in sin
Yes we all fall short of the glory of God and our salvation isn't about how well we preform or based off performance
John 8:1-10 “But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
At dawn he went to the temple again, and all the people were coming to him.
He sat down and began to teach them.
Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, making her stand in the center.
“Teacher,” they said to him, “this woman was caught in the act of committing adultery.
In the law Moses commanded us to stone such women.
So what do you say?”
They asked this to trap him, in order that they might have evidence to accuse him.
Jesus stooped down and started writing on the ground with his finger.
When they persisted in questioning him, he stood up and said to them, “The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her.” Then he stooped down again and continued writing on the ground.
When they heard this, they left one by one, starting with the older men.
Only he was left, with the woman in the center.
When Jesus stood up, he said to her, “Woman, where are they?
Has no one condemned you?””

1 corinthians 2:10-16 “Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, since the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except his spirit within him?
In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.
We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.
But the person without the Spirit does not receive what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.
The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, and yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone.
For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.”
