Introduction
The scene is set before Daniel.
On one side he has seen four beasts and a horn from the fourth beast that speaking great and pompous words.
Then he was ushered into Heaven where he saw God, whom he refers to as the Ancient of Days, with His Heavenly Counsel about to pronounce judgment.
The imagery of the throne room echoes that of Isaiah and Ezekiel and the imagery of these three prophets are later echoed by John as he wrote Revelation.
