1 John 3:1
Yoked with Christ
A yoke serves several purposes.
It enables the team to go in the same direction.
Often, young bulls are yoked with Older bulls in order that the younger can learn from the older.
The idea of taking on the yoke of Christ also infers that one will go with, or continue with Him, readily submitting not only to the learning but to the will of Christ in this course of life.
This is the change that begins at the “new birth” of a person from worldly minded goals and ambitions to Godly glorifying opportunities with the Love of God at the forefront.

Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary on the Bible (Revelation 1:1)
Those are well employed who search the Bible.
It is not enough that we read and hear, but we must keep the things that are written, in our memories, in our minds, in our affections, and in practice, and we shall be blessed in the deed.
