I. Introduction
As we continue our mini series dubbed “Prep for Action” we need to be reminded about how the Lord wants us to carry out the Great Commission.
Jesus did not leave us as orphans, but sent the promise of His Father upon the original disciples and still does so for all current disciples of Christ.
In sharing our faith, preaching the gospel to the nations, we have been divinely empowered to join Christ’s mission.
Lets see how in Acts 1:1-9.
II.
Jesus prepares His disciples for His ascension (Acts 1:1-5)
A. Jesus gave the apostles commands through the Holy Spirit.
B. Jesus presented Himself alive to them after his passion.
